Shipping Policy

Shipping Methods and Carriers:

We utilize USPS and UPS as our primary shipping carriers for domestic orders. For international shipments, upon request, we can use DHL. During the checkout process, customers can select their preferred shipping method. By default, we will opt for the most cost-effective shipping option based on the specific items in the order.

Order Processing Time:

Most orders are processed and shipped within 1-3 business days from the time of purchase. Larger or delicate items may require additional preparation time. Orders placed before 1:00 pm US Pacific time may often be shipped the same day.

Shipping Cost Estimate:

To calculate the estimated shipping cost for an item or combination of items, add them to your shopping cart using the “Buy Now” button. Then, in the shopping cart, use the “Calculate Shipping” button.

Estimated Delivery Time:

We provide estimated delivery times in terms of business days. These estimates are based on information provided to us by shipping carriers. Factors beyond our control, such as postal delays and weather conditions, can affect these times. International deliveries are especially subject to unpredictability. While we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates, the majority of shipments (95%+) arrive within the estimated timeframe. If you have inquiries about shipping times, kindly contact us before placing your order.

Shipping Insurance:

While we take utmost care in packaging and ensuring the safe delivery of your items, unforeseen circumstances can lead to lost or damaged packages during transit. We self-insure all packages we send out, setting aside funds to cover any potential losses. In cases of lost or damaged packages, we will work towards a refund or suitable replacement. We have chosen to self-insure due to the challenges in obtaining insurance payouts from shipping companies (USPS, UPS, DHL, etc) even when they are at fault. Packages are considered lost in transit and eligible for refund if not received within 30 business days (domestic) or 60 days (international) from the shipping date.

Return & Refund Policy:

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of purchase for all items sold. Shipping costs and credit card processing fees (approximately 3%) cannot be refunded unless the return is due to our error or loss/damage during shipping. Refunds or credits will be issued upon receipt of the returned item. To initiate a return, please follow instructions by contacting support@morocco-fossils.com.

Order Cancellation Policy:

If you wish to cancel an order before it ships, contact us at support@morocco-fossils.com or call our phone number (212) 681-932350. For order cancellations, refunds will be processed through the payment method used for the order or provided as store credit. Similar to returns, credit card processing fees (approximately 3%) cannot be refunded unless the refund is taken as store credit.

Combining Orders:

To help save on shipping costs, we are happy to combine multiple orders and ship them together. Simply leave a note in the instructions field of your orders indicating your preference to have them shipped together.
